The Presidency has described Nigeria as fortunate to have President Bola Tinubu in leadership, hailing him as a visionary and committed leader resolved to tackle insecurity and ensure peaceful coexistence throughout the nation.
Special Adviser to the President on Policy Communication, Sunday Dare, made this known in a post on X (formerly Twitter) on Tuesday, highlighting Tinubu’s commitments to peacebuilding, religious harmony, and national unity.
Dare said, “Nigeria is “blessed with a president who possesses the courage and vision to end the scourge of terror and insecurity.”
He wrote thus: “President Bola Tinubu carries in his person the very important Nigerian story of interfaith peace and harmony. He continues, unwaveringly, to pursue those kinds of collaboration which will help in cementing religious peace and tolerance, advancing economic relations, and pursuing a stronger nation.
Dare further emphasized that Nigeria’s diversity should be a source of strength rather than division, saying that its citizens are united in the same experience across religious lines. “Our faiths may differ, but our destinies do not. Nigeria is not a land of persecution; it is a land of opportunities, shared grief, and shared hope where Christians and Muslims have suffered together, will rebuild together, and, by God’s grace, continue to rise together,” he added.
