In a statement issued in Abeokuta by his Special Adviser on Media and Strategy, Kayode Akinmade, Governor Abiodun urged Soludo to see his victory as a renewed mandate to deliver more dividends of democracy and foster unity among all political interests in Anambra State.
He observed that the outcome of the election, which saw Soludo of the All Progressives Grand Alliance emerge victorious with 422,664 votes to defeat his closest rival, Nicholas Ukachukwu of the All Progressives Congress with 99,445 votes, was a true reflection of the confidence and faith the people have in his administration.
Abiodun hailed Soludo for his spirit of cooperation with the Federal Government, now led by President Bola Tinubu, and urged him to keep promoting democracy, inclusiveness, and development for the good of the people of Anambra State.
