All Progressives Congress (APC) Deputy National Financial Secretary, Ali Dattuwa Kumo, congratulated Barrister Luka Haruna on his new position as a Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN), describing the distinction as richly deserved recognition of his professional excellence and service.
Kumo was among dignitaries present at the grand reception to celebrate at the Transcorp Hilton, Abuja, following his swearing-in as one of Nigeria’s new SANs.
In his remarks, Kumo commended Haruna for what he described as an inspiring achievement, noting that the award was not just a personal success but also a source of pride to the community and an inspiration to the youths of Nigerians.
“The ascension of Barr. Luka Haruna, SAN, is proof of his unflinching dedication, professional excellence, and effective contribution to the legal profession,” he asserted. “It is an achievement which will challenge many, especially our youths, to attain excellence with dedication and integrity.”
He also prayed that Almighty Allah would grant the new SAN greater wisdom, strength, and success in advancing justice and serving the nation.
The vibrant ceremony had a list of VIP guests who were present, among them being Bauchi State past Governor, Barr. M.A. Abubakar, SAN, Emir of Akko, Emirs of Pindiga and Gona, Deputy Provost, College of Medical Sciences, Professor Joshua Difa, and other monarchs.
In attendance were also members of the National Assembly, including the House of Representatives Chief Whip and Minority Whip, Hon. Abubakar Habu Mu’azu, among other government functionaries and legal titans.
The event witnessed warm tributes to Haruna’s illustrious legal career and contributions to promoting justice in Nigeria.
