Afrobeats superstar Davido has announced the Nigerian leg of his much-anticipated 5ive Tour, which will light up five states between October and December 2025.
In a post on his official X handle, the global superstar revealed that the tour begins in Akwa Ibom on October 26, then moves to Adamawa on October 29, Enugu on November 1, Ibadan on November 9, and concludes with a grand finale in Lagos on Christmas Day, December 25.
Sharing his excitement to perform in his homeland, Davido wrote, “I am grateful to be performing everywhere around the world, and wherever I go, Nigeria goes with me. But this time, I’m coming home. Following an unforgettable North American tour, it’s only fitting we bring that same energy back where everything started.”.
He described the 5ive Tour as a celebration of Nigerian culture, identity, and the global triumph of Afrobeats, stating, “This one’s for the culture. This one’s personal. This one is for us.”
The upcoming series is Davido’s first major multi-city tour of Nigeria in recent years, following his sold-out Timeless Concert at Lagos Tafawa Balewa Square and record-breaking performance in Abuja in 2023.
Since the announcement, social media has been filled with excitement as fans anticipate Davido’s trademark stage energy and electrifying performances. The singer has vowed to give a record-breaking homecoming tour that will celebrate his journey, his fans, and the indelible mark of Nigerian music on the world stage.
