A former manager of Nigerian music star Innocent “2Face” Idibia, Kaka Igbokwe, has confirmed that the singer was indeed arrested in London after a tense argument with his wife, Natasha Osawaru.
2Face had travelled to the UK with Natasha for a concert tour, but when he didn’t show up for his October 2, 2025 performance, rumours began circulating that he had been detained. The speculation grew stronger after claims that the couple had clashed shortly after arriving in London.
Speaking during an Instagram Live chat with Daddy Freeze on Monday, Kaka who was on the same flight and part of the team on ground in London said the reports weren’t exaggerated.
“Everything you heard about the couple’s face-off was true,” he said.
He explained that the argument began when Natasha felt left behind. According to Kaka, some excited fans whisked 2Face away into a shop as soon as they landed, and Natasha became upset thinking he had abandoned her. When the singer rushed back after realising she was alone, the situation escalated into a heated confrontation. It eventually drew the attention of airport officials, leading to 2Face being handcuffed and taken into custody.
A video of the arrest, posted by blogger Tosin Silverdam on TikTok on December 1, 2025, has since resurfaced online and sparked fresh public debate about the couple’s relationship.
