Bishop David Oyedepo has once again made it crystal clear: politics is not for him. Speaking at the Shiloh 2025 gathering at Canaanland, Ota, the Winners’ Chapel founder said no amount of money, not even a billion dollars, could convince him to enter partisan politics.
According to report, during the impartation service, Oyedepo told thousands gathered at Faith Tabernacle that his calling is spiritual, not political.
“If you give me one billion dollars to join politics, I won’t,” he said. “It’s completely off my course.”
The respected cleric urged his congregation to stay true to their own God-given assignments, explaining that real influence comes from walking in purpose.
He reminded church members that their spiritual mandate matters more than chasing political power.
Oyedepo didn’t shy away from addressing Nigeria’s struggles. He described the world as “groaning in darkness,” pointing to Romans 8:19, where creation waits for God’s people to step forward.
He believes divine intervention is needed to solve the nation’s problems and prophesied that a new generation of leaders with wisdom like Joseph and Daniel is about to emerge.
“The army of God is about to provide solutions to national crises,” he said. “This is the day of what eyes have not seen.”
Shiloh 2025 also made headlines for another reason. Delta State Governor Sheriff Oborevwori was spotted serving as an usher at the event, helping worshippers find their seats.
Photos and videos quickly spread online, sparking conversations, especially since Oborevwori recently switched from PDP to APC ahead of the 2027 elections.
The five-day convention, themed “Breaking New Grounds,” ran from December 9 to 12 and drew worshippers from across the globe.
Pastors Paul Enenche and David Ibiyeomie joined the celebration, along with Bishop Oyedepo’s sons Pastor David Jr. and Pastor Isaac, making it another memorable Shiloh experience.
