Kiddwaya Says His Dad Helped Develop Banana Island, Nigerians React

Reality TV star Kiddwaya has stirred up social media after revealing that his father, billionaire Terry Waya, was involved in the early development of Banana Island, Lagos’ most exclusive neighborhood.

During an appearance on the Off The Record podcast, the former Big Brother Naija housemate shared that he only learned about his father’s role in the luxury estate during a trip overseas, years after it had already become home to Nigeria’s wealthiest residents.

“I didn’t even know until I heard it during one of my trips,” Kiddwaya said, explaining that his father later confirmed the story.

Terry Waya is a prominent businessman with interests in real estate, hospitality, and agriculture.
