Kwara ACF, GAMA Condemn Bandit Attacks in Eruku, Back Governor’s Call for More Security

The Kwara State chapter of Arewa Consultative Forum, ACF, in a statement, strongly condemned the bandit attacks on the people of Eruku in Ekiti Local Government Area, including the assault on worshippers at the Christ Apostolic Church, CAC, located in the town.

In a statement signed by its Director of Media and Documentation, Alh. Abdullahi Olesin, the ACF welcomed the call of Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq for urgent deployment of additional security personnel to reinforce existing operations in the area.

It also hailed President Bola Tinubu’s decision to deploy 900 more troops to improve security in the state. It urged all residents of Kwara, irrespective of their religious differences, to condemn the violence and work together with the state government towards defeating criminal elements.

In the same vein, GAMA in a statement signed by its President General, Alh. Mohammed Tunde Akanbi, and its Director of Administration, Alh. Abdullahi Yusuf, commended the intervention of the Governor: GAMA urged residents to remain calm and unite in support of the government efforts aimed at restoring peace and quelling insecurity in Ekiti LGA and other affected areas.
