Nollywood actor Lege Miami has set social media ablaze after making candid revelations about his friendship with Seyi Tinubu, son of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
In a video making waves on TikTok, the actor didn’t hold back, admitting that despite being close to the president’s son, the friendship hasn’t been financially rewarding.
Lege shared that he’s poured significant resources into his matchmaking business, some involving Seyi, but hasn’t seen any returns.
“I never enjoy Seyi as a friend. I’ve spent a lot of money, my matchmaking money.
We communicate, but sometimes I can call Seyi Tinubu 100 times and he won’t pick my call,” Lege said.
Despite his frustrations, the actor was quick to defend Seyi, suggesting that his heavy responsibilities might explain why he’s often unreachable.
The video has caused heated discussions online, with Nigerians sharing wildly different takes:
@Yung Alhaji questioned: “This guy talks too much. I wonder how he even became Seyi’s friend.”
@Bamishaye Matthew asked: “My only question is, how did you two even connect? Did you attend the same school?”
@user14473957073 remarked: “You go explain explain, but no evidence.”
@Tęch_Lêkan joked: “Seyi Tinubu is my best friend, but I’m not Seyi Tinubu’s best friend.” 😹
