In preparation for the 2027 general elections, northern leaders in the umbrella of the Northern Bridge Builders Forum would be calling on Pa Reuben Fasoranti, the Afenifere leader of the pan-Yoruba socio-political organization, to endorse the re-election bid of President Bola Tinubu.
The Forum, comprising foremost persons in the 19 northern states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), attested that its aim is to increase higher national unity, peace, and socio-economic development in Nigeria.
In a letter to Pa Fasoranti, the Forum asserted that it is devoted to promoting the welfare of Nigerians and campaigning for peaceful coexistence among all aspects of the country.
The scheduled visit is a follow-up to another by Arewa Think Tank members, who recently visited Afenifere leader in Akure to publicly support Tinubu’s re-election.
The Forum, as it states, is strongly assured that President Tinubu’s policies of reforms are crucial to guarantee Nigeria’s economic security and prosperity. Former Deputy Governor of Adamawa State Bala Ngilari and former legislator Dantami Ihenya are among its noted members.
The delegation will be visiting Pa Fasoranti at his Akure residence on Wednesday and also making a courtesy visit to Ondo State Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa.
