The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has set November 19, 2025, as the official start date for the 2025 Batch ‘C’ orientation exercise at camps nationwide.
In a statement by Director of Information and Public Relations, Caroline Embu, prospective corps members have been instructed to report to their designated orientation camps for registration and other activities.
Key Dates:
- Camp registration begins: Wednesday, November 19, 2025.
-
Swearing-in ceremony: Friday, November 21, 2025.
-
Closing ceremony: Tuesday, December 9, 2025.
The scheme revealed that only 40% of registered prospective corps members will be accommodated during this orientation period due to space constraints across the 36 states and FCT.
Those who don’t get placement will automatically move to the next batch.
Corps members are advised to complete their registration promptly to avoid disruptions.
NYSC Director-General, Brigadier General Olakunle Nafiu, congratulated mobilized corps members and emphasized safe travel to camps.
He specifically warned against night travel, stressing that participant safety is paramount.
