Nollywood actress Biodun Okeowo, aka Omoborty, has threatened to sue a man who called her a “thief agent” in the comments section of a real estate post she had put up on Instagram.
The spat kicked off after Okeowo posted a video promoting a plot of land and she later said in error listed the price as ₦50 million. Some followers pointed out that the same plot had been earlier promoted by actress Biola Bayo for ₦40 million, leading one commenter said to be affiliated with the movie industry to label Okeowo a thief.
Okeowo fired back in the comments, challenging the accuser to provide proof of the claim and threatening to take action if he could not. She further said the man did not know who owned the house and that the claim was baseless and damaging.
The actress has since said she will seek legal redress to clear her name, if the commenter fails to prove the accusation.
