A leaked phone conversation between street-pop star Portable and controversial influencer Saida Boj has taken over Nigerian social media, and it’s pure entertainment.
The audio, which surfaced on Instagram blog @wahalanetwork, captures Saida Boj asking about featuring Portable on a track for her upcoming EP.
What followed was a masterclass in Portable’s legendary self-confidence.
The singer initially threw out a ₦10 million price tag.
When Saida Boj explained she couldn’t swing that kind of money for an EP project, Portable knocked it down to ₦8 million, but not without reminding her exactly who she was talking to.
“My verse can change your life. I’m a big man. You are talking to a star,” Portable told her. “Before you go far, you will like to feature with someone who has a future.”
But Saida Boj, never one to back down, hit right back: “Guy, everybody get future. You big for music.”
The exchange has Nigerians divided between laughing at Portable’s audacity and debating whether his confidence is justified. The comments section went wild.
“Feminist no get 10m?” one person joked.
“Feature me so you can have a future. Lines dey bleed for Portable mouth,” another wrote.
Others were impressed: “Portable confidence 💪 needs to be studied. Bro believes in himself always.”
