Nollywood actress Rita Edochie has unleashed a scathing attack on Yinka Theisen, her brother-in-law Linc Edochie’s ex-fiancée, in a fiery Instagram post that’s added more fuel to the ongoing Edochie family drama.
The latest clash erupted after Yinka took aim at May Edochie, Yul Edochie’s estranged wife, and her supporters, dubbed “May Nation.”
In a recent video, Yinka suggested that if May were truly as admirable as people claim, Yul wouldn’t have been “snatched” by another woman.
That comment didn’t sit well with Rita, who fired back this morning with a lengthy Instagram post dragging Yinka’s character and relationship history.
Rita’s post pulled no punches. She accused Yinka of being jealous of May and claimed Yinka has had two failed marriages.
According to Rita, Yinka’s connection to the Edochie family was driven by opportunism, and her advances were ultimately rejected.
Rita wrote that she had warned the family about Yinka and suggested “the universe” stepped in to protect them.
She insisted May’s reputation and accomplishments speak for themselves and that Yinka’s attacks stem from pure envy.
The actress also mocked Yinka for publicly seeking sympathy and dwelling on past mistakes, ending her post with a promise to make Yinka apologize soon.
This latest social media battle traces back to Yul Edochie’s marriage to actress Judy Austin, a move that reportedly blindsided May and sparked a very public split.
Since then, both sides of the family and their supporters have been going at it online, with Rita frequently defending May.
