Temi Otedola Ajibade is opening up about her marriage to singer Mr Eazi, and her words are refreshingly honest.
According to report, in a recent BBC interview, the actress and daughter of billionaire Femi Otedola explained why marrying the Afrobeats star was the easiest choice she’s ever made.
“First and foremost, he’s my best friend. That’s my person,” she said. “When you meet your person, you just know.
I can’t imagine spending my life with anyone else. He’s who I want to build with, celebrate with, and tackle problems with.”
Temi also cleared up questions about why she now uses her husband’s surname on social media. For her, it wasn’t a big debate, just a natural step.
“It wasn’t something I planned ahead of time,” she explained. “But once I got married, taking my husband’s name felt like the obvious thing to do. It’s what makes me comfortable and happy.”
She was quick to add that every woman should decide what’s right for herself, without pressure either way.
The couple famously kept their relationship and wedding extremely private, and Temi says that was intentional.
It wasn’t just about avoiding attention, it was about staying in control of their own narrative.
“Moving in silence gives you power,” she said. “You get to share your story when you’re ready, how you want, and on your own terms.”
