President Bola Tinubu has rolled out the birthday wishes for FCT Minister Nyesom Wike, who turns 58 today, praising him as one of the most effective members of his cabinet.
In a statement released through his spokesman Bayo Onanuga, Tinubu didn’t hold back on the compliments, describing Wike’s life as “defined by service, purpose, and courage.”
The President highlighted what he sees as Wike’s standout achievement: finally completing the Apo–Karshi Road after it sat unfinished for 14 years.
According to Tinubu, this kind of delivery has dramatically improved how people move around the capital.
“Nyesom Wike has been one of the shining stars in the cabinet, an exceptional performer, developing infrastructure in the Federal Capital as never seen before,” Tinubu said.
He added that Wike has proven his “Mr Project” reputation extends well beyond Rivers State, where he previously served as governor.
The President painted a picture of a minister who doesn’t shy away from tough challenges and gets things done,qualities he says make Wike stand out in the Federal Executive Council.
