A viral video has captured the moment UK police walked into the apartment of popular TikTok creator Peller after neighbours reported loud noise during his livestream.
The footage, now trending across social media, shows Peller chatting with fans when a male and female police officer knock on his door.
They informed him they received complaints about excessive noise and needed to confirm everything was in order.
The officers briefly inspected the apartment, asking if he was alone or involved in any disturbance.
Peller explained that the flat belonged to his manager, who was away at the time. He also mentioned he was only in the UK for a show and planned to return to Nigeria on the 24th.
The video sparked conversation across Nigerian social media, with many criticising Peller’s loud attitude and warning that such behaviour abroad can attract unnecessary trouble.
A user, @khykheloormuur, wrote:
“I thought this guy speaks like this for content. No wonder Olamide said he should go back to school.”
Another user, @iOccupyNigeria, used the incident to educate Nigerians about police procedures in the UK:
“For UK, once you allow police enter your apartment without warrant, you don open gate finish… If you no give consent, dem no fit wander around your flat like supermarket. Peller fall hand because he no get orientation.”
