VeryDarkMan Calls Out Blord Over Alleged iPhone 17 Pro Scam

Social media activist VeryDarkMan has publicly accused crypto entrepreneur Blord of trying to rip off Nigerians by selling modified iPhone XRs as the latest iPhone 17 Pro.

The controversy started when Blord posted an Instagram video showing what he called an “upgraded” iPhone XR that had been transformed to resemble Apple’s newest flagship phone.

He claimed a contact in China had altered the phone’s casing, interface, and icons to match the iPhone 17 Pro’s appearance.

Blord announced he had two units available at ₦400,000 each. But VeryDarkMan wasn’t having it.

“Blord, I think you forgot that I am in China. Why do you want to extort Nigerians? All in the name of business, you want to make so much profit,” VDM fired back in a viral post.

VDM exposed the modified phones as refurbished iPhone XRs that actually cost around ₦280,000 in China, including shipping to Nigeria, far less than Blord’s asking price.

“Nigerians, this phone that Blord is selling for ₦450,000 is actually ₦280,000 plus shipping and delivery in any part of Nigeria,” he revealed.
