Activist VeryDarkMan has taken to the streets demanding urgent government action following the kidnapping of 33 schoolgirls in Kebbi State, as Nigeria grapples with worsening insecurity.
The protest comes amid rising nationwide anger over frequent deadly attacks and abductions that have left citizens feeling increasingly vulnerable.
During the demonstration, VeryDarkMan directed sharp criticism at President Bola Tinubu, accusing his administration of silence while Nigerians face escalating violence.
He pointed to a recent viral video from Kwara State showing armed gunmen storming a church and opening fire on worshippers.
“Your country is boiling, people are dying,” he said. “Just yesterday, terrorists entered a church in Kwara State and started shooting. Nigeria is bleeding.
President Tinubu, are you still alive? If you are, bring back our girls.”
The activist reminded Nigerians of Tinubu’s vocal criticism of former President Goodluck Jonathan during the 2014 Chibok schoolgirls abduction, when he was an opposition figure.
“We were happy when you became president because we thought you knew what you were doing, but apparently, you don’t,” he added.
VeryDarkMan called for immediate action to rescue the kidnapped girls and stop the wave of killings and abductions sweeping the nation.
He also challenged Nigerian youth to speak out against what he described as the government’s failure to protect its citizens.
