Nigerian comedian Zicsaloma is getting people talking after revealing he had nose surgery and telling his followers they should consider cosmetic procedures too if they can afford them.
The content creator, whose real name is Isaac Aloma, posted on Instagram that he got a rhinoplasty to change his facial features, and says it’s made him way more confident.
Zicsaloma opened up about how his appearance held him back in the entertainment industry, making him feel insecure and costing him opportunities.
“Some people lost chances in life just because of how they looked,” he wrote. “If you can afford cosmetic surgery and it will make you feel better, do it.”
His post blew up online with reactions all over the place.
Many fans praised him for being honest and helping normalize discussions about body image and self-confidence.
But others slammed him for “promoting vanity” and pushing unrealistic beauty standards.
Zicsaloma isn’t backing down though. He defended his choice, saying there’s nothing wrong with wanting to improve yourself, whether that’s physical or mental.
“Confidence is key in this industry,” he said, adding that he finally feels comfortable and happy with how he looks.
The comedian even mentioned he might get other minor facial procedures down the line.
