Nigerian music icon, 2Face Idibia, popularly known as 2Baba, has revealed that he and his wife, Annie Macauley, are officially getting divorced. The singer made the announcement on his Instagram page, sparking widespread reactions online.
According to his post, the couple has been separated for some time and has now decided to finalize their split by filing for divorce. 2Baba also assured his fans and supporters that he would soon share a detailed press release to clarify the reasons behind the decision and present his side of the story.
In his words, he emphasized his innocence, stating that he had done no wrong.
“Well, this thing I have to say is short but also long. Annie Macauley and I have been separated for a while now and have recently filed for divorce. I will grant a press release soon to say my story,” the post read in part.
