Nigerian winger Ademola Lookman has been announced as the winner of Atalanta’s Goal of the Month for October, following his exquisite first-time strike against AC Milan. The winger unleashed a powerful drive into the roof of the net to level the score 1-1 in an intense Serie A clash at the Gewiss Stadium.
Lookman’s 35th-minute equaliser – his first goal of the season – proved decisive in the fan vote, attracting an impressive 53% of the ballots. The Nigerian winger finished well ahead of second-placed Marco Brescianini with 20% and Dominic Vavassori on 19%. The 28-year-old has made seven appearances for Atalanta so far this season.
