Boy Killed by Kidnappers in Anambra After Refusing to Assault Sister

Kidnap

A young boy named Emmanuel was killed by kidnappers in Anambra State after he refused their demand to sexually assault his sister while they were being held captive.

Emmanuel and his two sisters were abducted by armed men who demanded ransom from their family.

When the family couldn’t pay, the kidnappers subjected the children to abuse and gave Emmanuel the horrific order, which he refused.

Human rights activist Harrison Gwamnishu shared details of the case on social media, describing it as “a wake-up call” for authorities.

He called on the government and security agencies to strengthen their efforts against kidnapping networks and ensure justice for victims.

The killing has prompted Nollywood actress Chioma Grace Ifemeludike to organize a peaceful protest at the New Government House in Awka on Friday, August 15.

Ifemeludike, a former Anambra governorship candidate, is demanding government accountability for the state’s security situation.

“This gathering is in response to the recent tragic kidnapping of Emmanuel and his sisters, urging the government to take full responsibility for the escalating insecurity,” she said, calling for immediate measures to protect residents’ lives and property.
