Arsenal winger Bukayo Saka has returned to the club’s Sobha Reality Training Centre following surgery on the hamstring injury he sustained against Crystal Palace last month. Saka, 23, is expected to be sidelined until March, but manager Mikel Arteta has praised his attitude during the recovery process.
“He’s been around a lot, and it’s great to have him back,” Arteta said. “There’s always a smile on his face, even during this challenging period. This is uncharted territory for him, as he’s never been injured for such a long time.”
Arteta revealed that they’ve discussed ways to make the most of Saka’s downtime, emphasizing personal growth and preparation for his return. “We’ve talked about how he can use this time to come back stronger, both physically and mentally, and be in the right place when he’s ready to return,” Arteta added. Saka’s presence at the training ground has been a morale boost for the team as he continues his road to recovery.
