Ikechukwu Ogbonna, a well-known car dealer who goes by IVD, has been sent to Kirikiri Prison after being arrested last week. Police caught him at the airport as he was about to fly to Qatar.
According to report, the arrest relates to a domestic violence case involving his late wife, Bimbo. The case is still going through the courts, and authorities had already banned him from traveling outside Nigeria until it’s finished.
On Friday, officials confirmed that IVD will stay in Kirikiri Prison until September 28 while waiting for his next court hearing.
