Chris Brown has disappeared from Instagram, deactivating his account with over 75 million followers after growing frustrated with online criticism.
The R&B star announced his departure with a blunt message: “Ima take a break from social media. You all done pissed me off long enough.”
The timing isn’t coincidental. Brown’s exit follows reports that he allegedly charged a male fan $1,200 for a simple photo, though these claims remain unverified.
More significantly, he’s dealing with serious legal problems that have kept him in headlines for all the wrong reasons.
In February 2023, Brown was accused of brutally attacking music producer Abe Diaw at a London nightclub.
The alleged incident involved Brown striking Diaw with a tequila bottle before punching and kicking him, causing severe injuries.
Diaw responded with a massive $16 million lawsuit, claiming physical harm, emotional trauma, and financial losses. Police arrested Brown this past May in connection with the case.
His sudden social media exit has divided fans. Some worry about his mental health, with one supporter sharing their own struggles: “He might be depressed.
Just remembered when I graduated from school, depression almost finished me. I stopped showing up on social but will rant to God with tears.”
Others jumped to his defense, questioning why people keep “pissing my man off,” while critics pointed to ongoing “anger issues.”
