Popular skit artiste and comedian, Sanku, was said to have been involved in a fatal road accident on Monday at Oolo village along the Oyo–Ogbomoso expressway.
Reports say his vehicle veered off the road and plunged into a ditch. His dead body was captured in a viral image at the accident scene before he was rushed to a hospital in Ogbomoso, Oyo State.
His death became the topic of social media confusion on Monday evening. Whilst his colleagues, including Abdulateef Tojubole, Orilabi, and Baby of Tiktok, openly declared his death, other users informed the public that he was alive and required prayers urgently.
As at press time, no official statement has come from the Ogbomoso hospital or his family regarding his actual condition.
