Davido Gushes About Wife Chioma’s Quiet Strength and Devotion During Interview, Fans Respond

Grammy-nominated Nigerian singer David “Davido” Adeleke has been making waves recently as he embarks on a tour to promote his much-awaited album 5IVE.

One of his most trending appearances was on The Breakfast Club, where he opened up about his life, career, and the quiet strength of his wife, Chioma.

In the interview, Davido praised Chioma for being “understanding” and for avoiding the drama that comes with fame.

He was amazed that she doesn’t chase clout or give interviews, especially during hard times.

“Most people would vent on the internet about their husband’s excesses, but she doesn’t,” he stated, clearly touched by her serene and peaceful nature.

The conversation led to so many comments online because fans were discussing what it means to be a peaceful partner. The artist was also left tearful when talking about his family and how they had stood by him in the tough moments.

In talking about his late son, Ifeanyi, Davido had a poignant moment when talking about his newborn twins.

“We have twins now, a boy and a girl… and the boy is so much like my son who passed away. They act the same. All that he did, he does,” he clarified.

Following are how fans reacted:

  • @grace_emmanuel_52: “Every man desires peace of mind. You can never go wrong being submissive and peaceful like a lady.”
  • @pretty_divaella: “That’s why she’s Chichi and I’m Ella. I wouldn’t take half of what she went through. I love myself too much.”
  • @flowwith.ceezhed: “That’s why I love Chioma so much. Like, a girl without drama… she is wife material for real.”
  • @ayo_scottishmedia: “We shouldn’t take advantage of women who give us peace of mind. Show respect to your woman if she shows respect to your home.”
  • @nowahalalina: “Dear future daughter, someone who loves you doesn’t cheat you. Work hard and earn your own. There are things money can’t buy—respect, peace of mind, and dignity.”
