Davido has opened up on why he picked Chioma as his wife. The artiste was a guest on The Bootleg Kev Podcast where the host queried him on why he picked Chioma to be his wife.
Davido revealed that he knew Chioma while he was in his third year of school and they became very intimate. He went on to add that they lived together for 8 years. He told us that as they were very good friends, had lived together for 8 years, and had three children in common, the adjustment to marriage was quite easy.
He said: “My partner and I have been living together for a long time prior to getting married. I met her in my third year in college, and I was lucky enough for us to move in together early—about eight years before we got married.”
The singer added: “Throughout the time we were living together, I was touring and really on the road. She always understood what I did for work, and she knows I’m at my happiest when I work. She knows I love music as she loves being in the kitchen.”
