The ongoing feud between Nollywood stars Destiny Etiko and Queeneth Hilbert has escalated, as Destiny has officially filed a ₦100 million defamation lawsuit against her colleague. This legal action comes after Queeneth accused Destiny of being involved in “boyfriend-snatching,” a claim that has since stirred controversy in the entertainment industry.
According to GistLover, Destiny took to Instagram to announce the lawsuit, firmly refuting Queeneth’s allegations and demanding a retraction of the defamatory statements. According to the petition, Queeneth Hilbert has been ordered to cease making defamatory remarks and withdraw her previous statement within 48 hours.
The legal document reads in part:
“Our client is an actress, a public figure, and a well-known social media personality with a large following. Our client’s attention was drawn to your official Instagram publication on March 6, 2025, wherein you alleged that our client, a reputable figure, engages in manipulation and relationships for material benefits.”
