Gov. Idris Donates Hilux Vehicles, Motorcycles to Boost Military Operations in Kebbi

Kebbi State Governor, Nasir Idris, has donated six Hilux vehicles and 30 motorcycles to the Nigerian Army to strengthen security and enhance military operations across the state.

The vehicles and motorcycles were officially handed over to Colonel Hussaini Rabi’u Toro of the 8 Division Tactical Command during a ceremony in Birnin Kebbi.

Governor Idris, in presenting the donation, restated his administration’s “unwavering commitment” to the development of security infrastructure. He explained that the donation was in continuation of efforts to provide security agencies with the logistics required to respond promptly to threats, especially in areas prone to banditry.

“Security is our highest priority. This is the reason why we are determined to give continued logistical support to the military and other security agencies,” the governor said.

He added that the Army was the first to be benefited under the scheme, with a promise to extend the same gesture to other security agencies in the state in subsequent phases.

Handing over a formal letter of allocation to Colonel Toro, Governor Idris praised the Army for its commitment and timely responses in the protection of lives and property.
