Nigerian rapper Ice Prince has finally addressed his noticeable physical transformation, clarifying that his weight loss wasn’t due to illness, but a wake-up call he couldn’t ignore.
In a heartfelt Facebook post, the “Oleku” star admitted he was “literally about to explode” from poor eating habits and unhealthy lifestyle choices.
It took nudges from close friends, music producer Chopstix and another friend named Dami, to turn things around.
The breakthrough moment? A lighthearted jab from Chopstix telling him to “lose the belly.” That simple comment hit home and sparked a real commitment to change.
Ice Prince shared that Chopstix started showing up at his house every evening, and the two would walk around his estate for an hour.
Those walks became more than just exercise, they turned into deep, meaningful conversations that felt “therapeutic and priceless.”
With his birthday coming up on October 30, the rapper is gearing up to drop new music and says it’s coming “in [his] new body.”
He also took time to encourage fans to focus on natural wellness and steer clear of quick fixes like artificial supplements.
“If nature didn’t make it, please don’t take it. Health is wealth.”
Wrapping up his post with gratitude, Ice Prince wrote:
“God so good inna me life… I was literally about to explode, no sickness (Bless God), just bad habits and choices. But now, it’s all about healthy living.”
Fans have been flooding his comments with support, celebrating not just his transformation and the renewed energy he’s bringing into his music and life.
