Alex Iwobi will become the Nigerian player with the most Premier League appearances when Fulham hosts his old club, Arsenal, at Craven Cottage on Saturday.
The 29-year-old midfielder has reached a record 298 Premier League appearances a record that he now shares with Shola Ameobi. Playing in the match against Arsenal would make Iwobi the only record holder with 299 Premier League appearances.
Iwobi’s impressive tally spans three clubs Arsenal, Everton, and Fulham since making his Premier League debut for the Gunners against Swansea City on October 27, 2015.
