Nollywood actor Jim Iyke has stirred controversy with his observations about fatherhood, particularly the role of single mothers in raising boys.
In a recent interview, the actor concurred that women by nature are caring and nurturing but was of the opinion that boys need to be shaped into “proper men” by the intervention of a man.
Iyke challenged single mothers to hire the services of a reliable male role model who would be a father, brother, or even a mentor to instill the discipline, organization, and direction which he believes are essential in shaping boys into men.
