Tanzanian singer Juma Jux is simply ecstatic as he prepares for his imminent traditional wedding to Priscilla Ojo, who is the daughter of acclaimed Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo.
In a special interview with Hip TV, the artiste, who is currently in Nigeria, revealed his readiness to explore the rich Yoruba culture, which will be the theme of the ceremony.
Among the greatest things to allure Juma is wearing the Agbada, the revered traditional Yoruba attire.
“I am looking very much forward to wearing a Nigerian traditional wedding very soon.
I look forward to wearing an Agbada,” he exclaimed with great eagerness for the cultural encounter ahead.
Juma also revealed that he will have all his groomsmen flown in from Tanzania to celebrate with him, so he’s among close friends on his wedding day.
Beyond wedding preparations, the artiste took credit for a growing love for Nigerian food. He testified of his fondness for dishes like eba, jollof rice, and turkey—dishes he’s determined to keep enjoying while in Nigeria.
As the preparations reach their peak, Juma’s excitement is palpable. As love, family, culture, and food form the core of the celebration, the wedding will be a beautiful blend of Nigerian and Tanzanian customs.
