Reality TV star and entrepreneur Kim Kardashian has revealed that she narrowly missed passing the California Bar Exam but remains determined to achieve her goal of becoming a lawyer.
In a post shared on Instagram, the 45-year-old SKIMS founder expressed disappointment but optimism, saying she was “so close to passing” and that the near success had only strengthened her resolve.
“Well… I’m not a lawyer yet, I just play a very well-dressed one on TV,” Kardashian joked, referencing her role as a divorce lawyer in Ryan Murphy’s All’s Fair. She added, “I’m still all in until I pass the bar. No shortcuts, no giving up just more studying and even more determination.”
The California Bar Exam, a rigorous two-day test, determines whether candidates are qualified to practice law in the state. Kardashian, who took the exam in July 2025, has been open about her journey through law school and her admiration for her late father, Robert Kardashian Sr., who famously represented O.J. Simpson during his murder trial.
