A man has opened up about the challenges he endured while living in Nigeria, shedding light on the reasons behind his decision to leave the country for a better life abroad. His account comes amidst recent remarks by UK Conservative Party leader Kemi Badenoch, who criticized Nigeria’s governance, describing it as ineffective and cautioning against the UK emulating its model.
The individual, who left Nigeria at the age of 31, highlighted the profound negative impact the country had on his life, contrasting it with his achievements since relocating.
Reflecting on his experience, he wrote:
“I left Nigeria at 31, and if they give me a mic on any international platform, the things I will say, even Badenoch cannot fathom it. Nigeria took my life away from me and offered no succour whatsoever. One day they will hear from me, one day.”
