Late musician Ilerioluwa Aloba, also known as Mohbad, has been addressed by his father, Mr. Joseph Aloba, after the testimony of Nurse Feyi at the ongoing coroner’s inquest. Speaking on the testimony, Mohbad father criticized his daughter-in-law, Wunmi, accusing her of negligence in handling her husband’s medical needs.
The nurse who had traveled from Cotonou to care for Mohbad revealed the final moments of the musician when she testified on Friday. Mohbad father also refuted Wunmi’s earlier claim that he had instructed the release of the nurse, stating that he had never met Nurse Feyi before seeing her in court. He further disclosed that the court is set to receive the private autopsy report next Friday.
“What I heard in court has now made me to know that Wunmi didn’t care for her husband. She had to wait for an auxiliary nurse for good 24 hours and not a qualified nurse to treat her husband.
“The nurse also confirmed it in court that she has never met me before and she was just meeting me for the first time in court and wunmi lied that her father in law said they should release the nurse, someone I never set my eyes on. We are expecting the pathologist to read the result of the private autopsy next Friday.
“SAN Shittu wanted the court to invite the Doctor that pronounced Mohbad ded but the court didn’t grant the request. I detected a lot of new things from the nurse’s testimony. She said Adura was never in the house when she got there. She also said that when they were rushing Mohbad out of the house, they were carrying him like a baby. This shows that he was already ded in the house before they carried him to the hospital.”
