Nigerian Student Breaks Guinness World Record with 50-Meter Sleeve Robe

Nigeria

Samuel Chinecherem Ezeh, a 27-year-old Nigerian university student, has officially entered the Guinness World Records for creating a robe with the world’s longest sleeves.

The Guinness World Records confirmed on their Facebook page that Samuel’s extraordinary creation features sleeves measuring 51.20 meters (167.97 feet) – making them longer than the Statue of Liberty and an Olympic swimming pool.

Samuel, who is in his fourth year at Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University, balances his academic studies with his passion for fashion design and tailoring.

He told Guinness World Records that he plans to take his record-breaking garment on an international tour.

“I wish to take it on a tour to display it in different countries and cities to show the world what it looks like,” Samuel explained.

According to the record organization, Samuel faced numerous challenges while creating the unusual piece, which makes his achievement even more impressive.
