Paris Jackson, the daughter of late pop icon Michael Jackson, has officially called off her engagement to actor Justin Long. The news comes at the heels of speculation over the 27-year-old’s emotional public appearance July 23.
Posting on X (previously Twitter) on Thursday, Paris confirmed that the tears were break-up tears. “Those were breakup tears,” she texted, clearing rumors surrounding the tearful incident.
The two became engaged in December 2024, with Paris previously telling Long that he was “the perfect partner” in a now-deleted Instagram update that exuded love and gratitude for their relationship.
Before going out with Long, Paris also dated a few notable personalities, such as The Only Way Is Essex actor Tom Kilbey, singer Michael Snoddy, and model-actress Cara Delevingne.
While Paris has yet to make other comments on the breakup, the news has drawn sympathy and well wishes from fans who are keen on her life in the spotlight.
