Without lingering for formalities, President Tinubu made his way directly to Sheikh Dahiru Bauchi’s mosque, the spiritual heart of Nigeria’s Tijjaniya Movement, to pay his last respects. The 92-year-old scholar, who died last month, leaves behind a legacy of compassionate, humble leadership that drew followers from every corner of Nigeria and beyond, uniting people through teachings of faith, empathy, and collective progress.
