Nigerian singer Reekado Banks has responded angrily to someone who mocked him for going to church, claiming he only turned to religion because his music career was failing.
The drama began when content creator Kesari posted on Instagram about wanting to get closer to God but being unsure whether to choose Christianity or Islam. Reekado Banks invited him to attend his church.
When a video of the two men worshipping together appeared online, most people praised Reekado’s gesture.
However, one person left a nasty comment saying: “When they fail at music, they start going to church.”
The former Mavin Records artist wasn’t having it. In a video response on his social media, Reekado Banks fired back at the troll, clearly upset by the comment.
“My friend called me and told me to delete it,” he said in the video, referring to his angry response to the criticism.
