Nollywood actress Regina Daniels has set social media on fire after sharing explosive details about her marriage to billionaire politician Ned Nwoko, and her relationship with his other wife.
In a series of emotional Instagram stories, Regina opened up about the challenges of polygamy, saying she left her own extended family behind only to end up financially supporting her husband’s household.
Regina didn’t hold back. She claimed she had been feeding and financially supporting Laila Charani, Nwoko’s Moroccan wife, along with handling other family expenses.
“I paid for their house and fed them several times. Funded a lot of things, but there’s no need to spill details,” she wrote. “I tried to put sense in her, but clearly, she’s senseless and evil.”
According to Regina, Laila has been spreading lies and trying to turn Ned against her.
She said Laila told their husband that Regina might harm Laila’s daughters, a claim she says Nwoko actually believed.
Regina also hinted that Laila had previously complained about Ned not giving her and their children enough attention or financial support, revealing cracks in the polygamous setup.
Clearly frustrated, Regina vented about how her private life has become public entertainment.
“I comot for extended family go dey support polygamous home?? I am really mad! So it’s okay to mock me, guy. Ogun go actually punish Ned o,” she wrote in pidgin, mixing humor with real anger.
She went on: “Make sure to tell your wannabe Regina’s wife how I paid for their house and fed them severely.”
Regina also addressed online gossip about alleged $50,000 payments, calling the focus on money “belittling.”
“Everyone stop talking about $50k, it’s unnecessary and belittling. If I drop what I’ve actually done, everybody go say I dey craze o. I’m the brokest person on planet earth, but at the same time, the richest in my small way.”
