Rema has gotten off to an amazing 2025 after becoming the most-streamed Nigerian artiste on YouTube in Q1 this year. According to a new report by Nigerian music charting platform The Debut Hub, Rema, who has delivered top-charting songs like “Raver,” achieved a staggering 223 million streams between January and March 2025.
One of the prime reasons behind Rema’s success is his chart-topping single Is It Crime, which alone generated 14 million views during this time. His fusion of Afrobeats, worldwide appeal, and regular delivery has been one that continues to appeal to fans globally.
Trailing behind second place is Grammy Award-winning artiste Burna Boy, who got 171 million streams. The singer of Last Last is also making waves ahead of the release of his much-anticipated eighth studio album, No Sign of Weakness.
Following close behind him is Ayra Starr, who took third place with 169 million streams.
