In a heartwarming display of support within Nollywood, up-and-coming actress Sandra Okunzuwa couldn’t contain her excitement after screen icon Genevieve Nnaji promoted her work on Instagram.
The emotional moment came on Thursday when Genevieve, often referred to as “The Queen” of Nollywood, shared Sandra’s Netflix film “Something Like Gold” with her followers. Overwhelmed by the gesture, Sandra took to social media to share her joy.
“Somebody pinch me because I’m screaming right now!” Sandra wrote, alongside a video capturing her reaction.
“The Queen herself, @genevievennaji, posted me! 😭✨” She went on to express her gratitude, noting that Genevieve was encouraging her followers to watch the film on Netflix.
