Sanku Comedy’s Mother Speaks Out Against Ritual Claims

The mother of popular comedian Sanku Comedy has firmly denied online rumors linking her son’s death to money rituals.

Sanku Comedy, whose real name was Raji Samad Adetola, died Monday in a car crash on the Oyo-Ogbomoso expressway in Ibadan.

Following his sudden death, some people on social media began speculating that his comedy success was connected to ritual practices.

In an emotional video that has gone viral, Sanku’s mother rejected these claims while mourning her son.

She described him as a devout Muslim who never involved himself in any fetish activities.

“Many religious leaders gave him spiritual soaps to use, but he always told me to just keep praying for him,” she said through tears.

“He said my prayers were enough. My son never went to any herbalist. He was always praying to God.”

The grieving mother shared memories of Sanku’s character and their relationship. She recalled how he used to help her sell peppers on the street before asking permission to focus on his comedy career.

“Sanku was a good child. He promised I would enjoy the fruits of my labor,” she said. She also mentioned that he had recently asked her to move in with him so she could stop working so hard and finally rest.
