Reality TV star Natacha Akide, better known as Tacha, has opened up about her plans to venture into politics, driven by a desire to influence Nigeria’s future.
Speaking with BBC Pidgin, the former Big Brother Naija contestant shared that witnessing how political decisions shape everyday life has motivated her to step beyond social media activism.
“People always say after God, it’s politics,” Tacha explained. “One government policy can make or break you.
If you keep complaining about something, it only makes sense to get involved and maybe make decisions that’ll make things easier for people.”
The influencer acknowledged that while she’s not yet positioned to make major political moves, she’s committed to using her platform to push for better governance and accountability.
Beyond politics, Tacha recently attempted a Guinness World Record on October 11, completing 150 makeovers in 24 hours.
She’s now waiting for official confirmation from Guinness World Records to verify her achievement as the most makeovers by a single artist in one day.
