A talent manager has spoken out to correct false rumors about reality TV star Phyna‘s response to her sister’s tragic death in a truck accident.
Mike Premium, who has been working behind the scenes on the case, firmly denied viral claims that Phyna demanded ₦1 billion in compensation from Dangote Group after her sister Ruth was struck by one of their trucks.
Ruth had been fighting for her life in a coma for several days following the accident.
Despite her family’s desperate efforts to get her proper medical care and seek justice, she ultimately lost her battle and passed away.
After Ruth’s death, social media buzzed with allegations that Phyna had made an outrageous financial demand.
But Mike Premium, who revealed he’d been quietly handling the legal aspects of the case, called these reports completely untrue.
He explained that what Phyna actually asked for was something much more basic and heartbreaking – she wanted her sister to be taken abroad for emergency medical treatment because the advanced care Ruth needed simply wasn’t available locally.
To prove his point, Mike shared screenshots of their actual conversations and stressed that the family’s only real requests were for immediate medical help and fair treatment.
“We never once mentioned ₦1 billion as a demand – that’s completely made up,” he stated.
“I’ve been working on this case quietly since it became news. What we desperately needed was for Ruth to be flown out of the country for proper treatment.
Instead of showing compassion and acting quickly, there were just delays and excuses, and now we’ve lost her.”
Mike didn’t hold back his frustration, emphasizing that Ruth’s death wasn’t inevitable – it was preventable.
He’s now calling on Dangote Group to take responsibility and “do what’s right” in the aftermath of this tragedy.
