Gospel singer Salau Olayiwola, popularly known as Testimony Jaga, has weighed in on the ongoing feud between Mercy Chinwo-Blessed and her former record label boss, Ezekiel ThankGod Onyedikachukwu, better known as EeZee T. Jaga did not hold back in his criticism, stating that EeZee T must seek repentance for his actions or face dire consequences.
He revealed that several pastors had advised him to move on from his issues with the label head, but he chose to speak out instead. He also referenced EeZee T’s past arrest in Ilorin, Kwara State, where the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) reportedly uncovered financial discrepancies in the record label’s transactions.
According to Jaga, external auditors revealed that EeZee T had declared a much lower amount than what was actually owed to Mercy Chinwo. Expressing his disappointment, Jaga accused EeZee T of tarnishing the reputation of the gospel music industry. He pointed out that many in the Christian community have refrained from supporting him, recalling that he was once the manager of gospel artist Frank Edwards but has since lost credibility due to his actions.
In a video shared on Instagram, Jaga further alleged that EeZee T has been exploiting gospel artists for financial gain. He accused him of blackmailing his signees and charging fees to artists who want to collaborate with them, as well as demanding payments from churches. According to Jaga, this has resulted in pastors staying silent rather than defending him. Despite the controversy, Jaga encouraged Mercy Chinwo, assuring her that EeZee T has no power over the divine grace in her life.
