Three lawmakers in the Kaduna State House of Representatives from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) have defected to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) officially.
The lawmakers Hon. Abdulkarim Ahmed (Kaduna South), Aliyu Abdullahi (Ikara/Kubau), and Sadiq Abdullahi (Sabon Gari) announced this in individual letters read by Speaker Abbas Tajudeen at Tuesday’s plenary.
The former PDP members in their letters had quoted their decision to the long internal crisis within the party and the need to align with the political trend of their people.
Kaduna State Governor, Uba Sani, also a former legislator, was present in the chamber to behold the formal deflection of the trio into the APC.
